'Amazing Grace, 

how sweet the sound'.
The song is amazing
and the message is so profound.

 

It is said to be about a
man's role in the slave trade
and the realisatiion, of the agony
inflicted on other's, a wretch was made.

 

The Grace, was the grace of God, that
made him see the error of his way.
He considered himself saved, as he
changed the course of his life that day,

 

'Once was lost, now is found',
Likely reference to his Soul,
which was wounded and with this
realisation, he once again feels whole.

 

Our Spirit too can be wounded
and at times we too can feel lost,
but believe in a saviour, or not,
we should never give up hope, at any cost.

 

So, whether you are religious or not, there
is real comfort in 'Amazing Grace' as a song.
and a reminder that there is always hope
when things in our life, sometimes go wrong.©
