Sometimes words, especially love

are often hard to express.
We can't always seem to find the right
time, or even the way to do it best.

 

We may know what feelings
that we have enclosed inside,
or we may not know our feelings
or they may be feelings long denied.

 

However deep they may be,
our true feelings are inside.
Sometimes too, there are more questions
than answers, so let our heart be our guide.

 

Please know that these words
are express what I truly feel,
know that our love is special
and know that our love is real.

 

You are my night
and you are my day,
yet I still find these words hard to say
so I have chosen, to tell you this way.

 

So, my love please be patient

during this my plight 
knowing that I will always 
and forever try to treat you right.

 

Know too, that these words 
come directly from the heart.
I give my sincere thanks for you
and may we never, never part.

 

You will get to know my love

although it may take some time.
Be patient, maybe I will even learn to say this because, for all eternity, I want you to be mine. ©
