Life is a journey,

with an undetermined end.
We are faced with many choices,
including who to love and who to befriend.

 

Some friends may take a different path,
while others are loyal and there for life,
some friends we love, they become like family,
they may even become husband or wife.

 

Loved ones are those who genuinely care,
they always have our interest at heart.
They don't judge but are forgiving, having 
a bond means we stick together and not part.

 

The pain is more intense if we are hurt
by a loved one's actions or words spoken,
but can we say that we have truly loved if
we have never had our heart broken. ©
