I long for your loving touch.
Just being near you has
come to mean so much.

 

We have shared a sunset,
and awoken to a sunrise.
I have held you oh so close
and I have looked into your eyes.

 

I have seen beyond
your eyes of blue
and have known your love,
both wonderful and true.

 

Then when you left,
all I could do was cry.
What hurts the most
was I didn't even know why.

 

Still after all these years,
I still seek what we had.
I wish for a glimpse of happiness
