If my poetry were songs

I think they would be 'Blues'

always with heart and soul,

words I selectively choose.

 

The words are written from

experience and come from within.

The blues often come from hardship,

even adversity of life's fragility worn thin.

​

Travelling different paths,

experiencing both love and pain

hoping to find our place in the World,

a desire that someone's acceptance we gain.

 

Sometimes life is confusing,

not knowing how to react or what to say.

Seek comfort knowing that we are part of the tapestry of life connecting us all in some way.
