Don't sweat the small stuff,
as life is way too short.
Learn to remain calm,
patience needs to be sought.
When the wheel on your
shopping trolley goes berserk,
don't kick and scream or curse at it
because that won't make it work.
When someone beats
you to a parking bay,
what is the point
in giving them a spray.
Why get annoyed
or even get the blues,
just because you can't
find that particular pair of shoes.
There are homeless people simply
trying to keep from being cold.
Some living on the streets, some in
refuges, some will never grow old.
Think about the kids that
are far to ill to go outside to play
or maybe those who fight
just to get through another day.
So, rather than sweating the small stuff,
take the time to be reflective.
Most situations usually only require,
that you take the time to put it in perspective.©
