Life is like a 'tapestry',

 woven through the passage of time.

 Stitched with love and care,

 with multi coloured twine.

 

 Each stitch represents,

 the minutes, hours and days.

 Just like life's course,

 inspired in many different ways.

 

 More colours than a rainbow,

 some indigo, violet and blue.

 The 'images' are a reminder

 of the lives of me and of you.

 

 Some are scenes,

 of sky's cloudy or clear,

 or trees brown or green,

 that reflects the Seasons of the year.

 

 Some images represent

 our everyday life,

 maybe family, children

 maybe husband or wife.

 

 Life like a tapestry 

 has its end and its beginning

 and like  in life some people lose,

 while others are often winning.

 

 So, when you look at a 'Tapestry',

 look beyond what you can see,

 it is a glimpse of someone's life,

 thread by thread, or what life could be.
