A Tribute to My Mum...'You Were Always There'

 

Looking back on my life, you were always there,

at every age, step and stage, with tender loving care.

 

You were there in the good times and in the bad,

when I was happy, but especially when I was sad.

 

You gave advice, over the years,

made me smile and even wiped away my tears.

 

When you left this World, I didn't know what to do,

you were my friend, my confidante', my mum your love, was ever true.

 

So at this time as I pause and reflect

remembering, you were always, the best mum a child could expect.

 

Now it's my turn, to wipe away the tears,

as I give thanks to you and dad, for all the days, the months and the years!! ©
