They say to love a child

you need to set them free.

Free to make their own choices

and to be all they can possibly be!

 

Parents get to see the fruits of their labour

week by week and day by day

and those who have taken the journey

would not have it any other way.

Your loving touch and guiding hand are

teaching your child all you want them to know.

Being a parent is a privilege, as you

get to nurture them and watch them grow.​

​

They need to continue with their life's journey

knowing that you have loved them with all your heart

and that it is safe to let them go, with the

satisfaction of knowing that you have done your part.

​

You will be forever rewarded

because you have given their heart a home

and you will always be part of their journey

wherever they may choose to roam.
