Thank You Mum....

for feeding me and changing many a nappy
and for being there when I am sad or happy.

as a child you tucked me into bed,
for the good night kisses and stories read.

Thank You Mum....
because as a teen I first 'shared' my heart
and you were there, when it all fell apart.

Thank You Mum....
You are always there to pick up the pieces
and your love and devotion, never ceases.

Thank You Mum....
because you did more than give birth
and you are truly 'the salt of the Earth'.

Thank you Mum....
for being the cook, chauffeur and a nurse,
now and 'forever' the centre of my Universe.

I can't 'Thank You' enough....
